El Kabuki utiliza una extensión adicional del escenario conocida como Hanamichi “花道”, (literalmente camino florido), una calzada que se extiende hasta la audiencia en donde se hacen las entradas y salidas dramáticas. El origen del Hanamichi encierra diversas teorías por lo que basado en el artículo de “The Birth of the Hanamichi” escrito por Suwa Haruo y traducido por Samuel L. Leiter, he querido clarificar las diversas hipótesis existentes para acercarnos al conocimiento del origen de esta pieza fundamental del teatro Kabuki.

My last contribution to the meeting of Wooden Playhouses Study Group on January 29th had a special relation with the Kabuki theater. (Wikipedia link of Kabuki?).
The Kabuki uses an extra stage section known as Hanamichi "花道" (literally, flowery path). A walkway platform that extends through the audience from the back of the theater to connect with the stage. The origin of Hanamichi contains various theories. Based on the article "The Birth of the Hanamichi" by Suwa Haruo and translated by Samuel L. Leiter, I wanted to clarify some of the various existing hypotheses to approach knowledge of the origin of this essential element of the Kabuki theater.
